I did it...

I made it to the second round of Scrapping With The Stars. I am so excited! Had to do a little research with this week's stars, but now that I **know** them, I truly love them! Becky Higgins, we all love her! Her sketches are so flexible to any style! Now... Jennifer McGuire was a new name to me... but I am definitely one of her biggest fans now! Just love some of her stuff!

I can't show you my layouts, but the BH one is DONE! Ready to go, and the other will be tonight! Probably one of my favorite layouts in a long time!

Bedroom is DONE. Painted, cleaned up, chair rails up! Awesome! Now I get to pick out some new bedding and a new fan, and it will be a luxurious master suite. so proud of it! Next on the home fixing list... new doors for the laundry room. We have accordian doors now, and they won't let the drawers to the new w/d open! Pooh!

Got some BIG plans coming up soon... keep checking back... I think it will be fun had by all! We are really excited, and getting all the kinks worked out... Will let you know as soon as we can! Aren't you all enthralled now?

I can't believe I don't have a picture to share... what is UP with that? Thursday is our medieval feast... I am SURE this wench will show up in a shot or two! Huzzah!

Lights Out!

Science Fair...

is officially DONE! She is set up in the gym for everyone to see! I am so glad that this is the last year of this. As it IS a learning experience for her... it is something that takes over our lives for the entire Christmas break and all of January!

Isn't she cute?

Wow... Today the voting started for Scrapping with the Stars. We have to wait until sometime this weekend to find out who moves on! WOW... I voted already, it was tough! I am not sure what my chances are... but I am THRILLED with my layouts!
We had to mimic Ali Edwards' and Elsie Flannigan's styles. Ali's, "Simple Indulgences," came out quite easily for me, but Elsie's, "Just Love Me," was a stretch. Whatcha think?
This was a BUSY non-stop weekend! Worked out on Saturday and headed to lunch! T asked for a ceasar salad? What four year old eats that? Crazy! My auction scrapbook class for school was Saturday afternoon. IT was a success! FIFTEEN 5th-8th graders making a mini-album! I was exhausted, but the girls AND their moms loved how they turned out! I just love instilling the love of scrapping in young minds!
Sunday was filled with finishing up E's science project WHICH is done! Will share that tomorrow! Chuck was super dude... he cooked an amazing dinner AND painted our entire bedroom! We still have touch ups and chair rails to put up, but I was sleeping in a chocolate dream world last night!
Back to the land of 7th graders!
Lights out!

Wow... Just wanted to update on some projects I have been doing! I am not going to list supplies or anything. Just wanted to share! I made it through Round 1 of Scrapping with the Stars at Coordinates Collections I can't share my goodies just yet, but I will as soon as I am allowed! Just keep your fingers crossed for me! I had to mimic Ali Edward's and Elsie Flannigan's style... Really got my juices flowing! Sorry... this is a HUGE post! But I am going to do more sharing of my stuff here!

First... Our 15th wedding anniversary was earlier this month! Chuck says I never make him anything. He may regret ever saying that! I made this clock for his office. It purposely does not have any numbers on it! You know... timeless!

Second... I have a class at Maridawn's next week, so I made these two layouts for my All About Boys class! I used my new ROBO to do the BUG for the title! Am I smart or what?

Finally! Like I said in my last post, I was asked to be the guest designer for February at The Scrapbook Nook This month's kit was awesome! Filled with the ENTIRE Blush line from Basic Grey, Maya Road chipboard hearts, SEI Twitterpated buttons, and yummy ribbons! I have obliterated this kit! I have made THREE layouts, THREE cards, and have an altered project in the works! Now that is a lot of kit for your money... Here are my goodies!
These are from the same kit... but they are the Valentine's cards I made for my three little Valentine's!

So... did you find me? I am here!

Have some GREAT photos to share with you, and did a TON of scrapping this weekend! Alas, they are all on my HOME computer! I have been warned, threatened, mocked, and spammed, so I will get them up ASAP!

I am hoping that this weather actually DOES show up tonight! I really want to scrap! I made it to Round 1 in the Scrapping with the Stars contest. I get to create TWO layouts... one following Ali Edward's style, and the other mimicking Elsie Flanagin's style! Ouch! A stretch, but I am so up for the challenge! I will keep you posted! I also have some other ideas using the amazing kit over at My Scrapbook Nook . I was picked for their February DT, and couldn't have gotten luckier with this kit! The entire Basic Grey Blush kit! Love this stuff! I have two layouts done, one in the works, a project and three cards hoping to get done! I am telling you... this is a GREAT kit!

Lights Out... for now!

Welcome to my world... Here lies my heart, my head, my soul! Sit back and enjoy, laugh, cry, or just ponder with me!

Give me some time to learn this new system... Thanks for moving over with me!
